Kashif Ahmed, MD
Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist
Dr. Ahmed joins Frontier Psychiatry via the Solnit Integrated Program at the Yale University Child Study Center. He attended University of Michigan for his undergraduate studies where he majored in Brain, Behavior & Cognitive Science. After working for a nonprofit in Indianapolis, he returned to University of Michigan for his medical degree. Dr. Ahmed fell in love with psychiatry while working for an orphanage overseas during medical school and has focused his elective time on working with marginalized patients in urban and rural parts of the US. His primary goal in psychiatry is to help improve the accessibility and the quality of mental health services for vulnerable populations, both domestically and abroad.
