Janelle Arias, MD
Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist
Dr. Janelle Arias completed her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Yale Child Study Center in 2008. She then had a leadership role in developing a trauma informed, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) residential program for adolescents, where she provided psychiatric care for 10 years. Dr. Arias then served as medical director for an eating disorder PHP, IOP, and outpatient assessment program. Dr. Arias joins Frontier Psychiatry with previous experience delivering integrated psychiatric
outpatient care through telepsychiatry to primary care clinics as well as serving as a psychiatrist in outpatient and therapeutic school clinics. Dr. Arias completed intensive training in DBT through the Treatment Implementation Collaborative and enjoys incorporating the principles of DBT into the psychiatric care she provides to patients and their families. Dr. Arias is board certified in general and child/adolescent psychiatry.
