Montana Project ECHO for Psychiatry
Frontier Psychiatry and Mountain-Pacific Quality Health have jointly launched 3D ECHO, a telementoring initiative to deliver medical education and health care management to clinicians in remote settings throughout our region. The newest Project ECHO hub is called 3D ECHO to reflect the importance of supporting the three dimensions of health care: biological, psychological and social.

Our expert hub will present didactics that will empower clinicians in evidence-based best practices in the care and treatment of dementia. Learning objectives include:
- Participants will be updated on the diseases causing dementia from identifying severity of dementia, different clinical syndromes, and possible underlying biology.
- Participants will understand the workup and diagnosis for cognitive impairment regardless of patient location.
- Participants will learn how to approach patients and caregivers with information about their diagnosis and care planning.
- Participants will learn common behavioral changes seen in dementia and approaches to address the underlying drivers.
